Glory Hound

Although I am not a trained chef, I do know delicious when it smacks me in the tastebuds. I love making people happy and hearing feedback about my cooking, which is the reason why I love my job!

Here are a few comments about what people have said (real live people, I didn’t make this up) after they have eaten my cooking.

Hi Gina,
I just wanted to say thank you for the scrumptious food you provided last night!
You were undoubtedly the star of the party!
Everyone had their favourite item, but in the end, when they were so full- they always had room for a sausage roll!!
We enjoyed leftover pulled pork and chocolate mousse for a late breakfast today, but otherwise it all went!
I let everyone know how great you were to plan with and the test of the food was in the eating. I hope you get some further business from it and I will certainly find a reason to use your business again.
Keep up the great work and great ethos!
Regards
Yvette

“Thanks Gina for the beautiful and yummy muffins and slices for our convention on the weekend!
So many great comments: I think the Salted Caramel Slice was a favourite. I’m glad I’ve finally tried the ‘famous’ slice’ and will definitely seek more in the future.
Your fresh coffee scrolls were also ‘to die for’.
Friends, I can recommend all these delights!”

“Her food is incredible! I’ve had several onion free things that tasted so delicious it seemed too good to be true. But it wasn’t. She’s a flavour magician!

“Just a huge thankyou for all your hard work along with your assistants who seem to go above and beyond what was expected of you all.

Just like your other guests everyone is raving about how great the food was and what a good time they had at the party.

Having you involved made such a stress free event for me and Kevin and I wouldn’t hesitate to use your services again or recommend you  to anyone.

“So far tonight we’ve tried the spinach & cheese triangles, the scrolls, the cookies and the granola. All outstanding, you managed to reach granola perfection, it’s the most wonderful mix of crunchy, clumpy and not too sweet. I am feeling like the luckiest person to have come across your talents. Thank you!

The tartlets I liked most were the olive ones and the pea and feta ones. The cardamom shortbread glitter cookies were yum. Everyone really liked the lavosh and the chicken caesar bites.  Overall it was great Gina. Thank you again. Would definitely recommend you.

-30/4/2017…about a High Tea selection

Hi Gina,
I attended the piano teaching workshop at Pat’s Music yesterday, and I did wish to pass on my congratulations for your beautiful lunch selections! It was a delightful surprise to enjoy your wonderful salads (would love to know what they are called!), mini brioche and cakes on such a hot day – such a change from the boring hard-to-eat-and-talk dry focaccias often served up at teachers’ conferences! Well done! I hope one day I may have an opportunity to secure your catering services. Meantime, I look forward to the next Hal Leonard workshop and your culinary creations!
Kind regards, Sue (January 2107)
